Just FYI, my scanner's not working, so I won't be uploading anything until I figure out how to fix it.

I'm actually getting around to writing a book...sort of. I'm really working it out in my head right now. It's a love story between a vampire and a girl who finds out she has magical powers. There are a lot of kinks to work out of it, a lot of decisions to make, like names, so it will be a little while before I can get to actually writing the book. I hope to finish it before I'm dead.
You may notice I'm reading "Twilight." Well, it's safe to say it probably has had some influence on my book. But, long before I heard of "Twilight," I had thoughts about a vampire and a mortal girl who fall in love. Damn Stephanie Meyer. She beat me to it, so I have to tweak my story so it will be sufficiently different.

I've been looking over my drawings and I've realized something: All the decent ones are copies of other people's work, which means either a) I can't think of anything original to draw, and/or b) the only way I can draw anything decent is by basing it off something else. I guess the only way I will be able to find out which it is is by waiting for inspiration. If it's decent, then maybe I don't suck....

I felt that it was time I finally moved on to a more mature persona. So, here I am, now just Jalyna. I've been neglecting my "art" for quite a while now, but recently I've been getting bored and I have been getting back into it, although almost all of my time is taken up by school, so don't expect much. Also, my printer hasn't been woking for a while now, and, though I haven't tried yet, I have a feeling that I won't be able to scan anything until I figure out some way to fix it, or I might have to buy a new printer.
